Local prototype

MiniChess runs game logic and analysis locally in your browser. Training scores use a local persistent store unless a project owner connects the optional Supabase backend.

Chess engine

Analysis is powered by Stockfish, free software distributed under the GNU GPL v3. Source and licence information are available from the Stockfish project.

Puzzle data

Puzzles are supplied by the Lichess open puzzle database, released under CC0. Lichess is a separate project and does not endorse this prototype.

Interface artwork

Move sounds and result glyphs use archived Chess.com interface assets. The glyphs came from a community asset archive. Chess.com and its marks belong to their respective owner; no endorsement is implied.
